History

1980

Flodraulic Group founded in Toronto, Canada by Ed Stock and Lou Laskis as a full-service fluid power design and manufacturing company.

1980'S

Flodraulic Group grows across Canada as the premier fluid power distribution channel in Canada and, internationally, establishing key relationships with suppliers and OEM customers.

1997

Flodraulic Group’s fluid power expertise is brought to the United States with its first office established in Atlanta, Georgia.

1998

Flodraulic Group acquires Modular Fluid Power in Canada, bringing remote control capabilities to the organization.

2003

Flodraulic Group acquires the assets of Primetech with locations in Indiana, California and Ohio.

2004

Flodraulic Group establishes additional US offices in Michigan, Arizona and Ohio.

2006

Flodraulic Group expands with an office in Edmonton, Alberta to better service western Canada.

2008

Flodraulic Group acquires North American Hydraulics and Automation Engineering to further penetrate mobile markets. The acquisition establishes a North America wide sales force and physical locations in Houston and Baton Rouge.

2011

Flodraulic Group acquires Omniflex and Georgian Hose adding hose and fittings expertise to the group through four branches in Ontario, Canada.

2013

Flodraulic Group acquires RHM Fluid Power in Michigan to increase its industrial hydraulic system design and build capabilities, including lubricating oil, process, testing and high pressure coolant systems. This acquisition also included a 1/3 interest in UEP, an electrical panel design and build company.

2016

Flodraulic Group’s acquires Oleobi Hydraulic Systems in Bologna, Italy. Oleobi is a leader in the distribution of hydraulic components and the design and construction of customized hydraulic system and manifolds. The acquisition offers two locations in Italy, including PK Srl, a hose and fittings distributor.

2016

Flodraulic Group establishes three new locations in Calgary, Alberta, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and Kamloops, British Columbia to expand its product offering in western Canada
