A worldwide leader in the manufacture of onshore and offshore oil and gas drilling equipment requested assistance from Flodraulic in designing a new state-of-the-art hydraulic system for its offshore crane product line.
The goal was to use standard components that offered higher speeds, improved control, lower cost and improved deliveries.
Considering customer design preferences and utilizing best practices, Flodraulic engineers delivered a completely new hydraulic system design with increased efficiency, more compact and at a lower cost. The customer and Flodraulic also jointly developed a new electrical control package to manage the improved hydraulic system with greater efficiency.
To ensure consistent operation and operational understanding of the new system, Flodraulic provided in-depth training to the customers engineers, production personnel and computer programmers. Safety and mechanical checks of the initial system were also performed in Asia by Flodraulic specialists.
Flodraulic utilized the latest technology to reduce labor, component and wiring costs while improving ease of operation.
